About UNIPROST 250MG TABLET
Uniprost 250MG Tablet contains abiraterone acetate 250mg. It blocks the CYP17 enzyme so the body makes very little testosterone, which prostate cancer needs to grow, which is why it is classed as an androgen synthesis inhibitor (hormone therapy). Specialists use it for metastatic prostate cancer, both hormone-sensitive and castration-resistant, given with a steroid such as prednisolone.
