About AVASTIN 400MG INJECTION

Avastin 400MG Injection contains bevacizumab 400mg. It blocks VEGF, a signal tumours use to grow new blood vessels, so the tumour is starved of blood supply, which is why it is classed as an anti-VEGF monoclonal antibody (targeted therapy). Specialists use it for metastatic colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian, cervical and kidney cancer, and glioblastoma. During treatment expect regular checks such as blood pressure and urine protein checks before each dose. Made by Roche; pack size 1 vial. MRP Rs 123,506 as per the NPPA revision of 9 November 2026.
